Her Royal Highness Princess Valaya Alongkorn Krom Luang Phetchaburi Ratchasirindhorn, Her Majesty had compassion for education of Thai ladies therefore granting a building with land about 4 Rai. 

The Ministry of Education Phetchaburi Wittayalongkorn Teacher Training School was established on the 4th of June, 1932, the current address is 153 Petchburi Road, Thung Phayathai Subdistrict, Ratchathewi District, Bangkok, by transferring teacher trainee students and high school students (Grade.7-8) from Benchamaralai School and its first principal was Teacher Nilrat Bannasitworasat, The school uses the abbreviation “P”.

It is symbolic and green is the school color because it is the color of Her Royal Highness’ birth day.

This educational institution has performed the mission of education both in the teacher training department and the general department has always been good and has evolved to change its status and title as appropriate “Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University”.
